Xeomin the Botox Alternative

IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED:

Botox, Dysport and Xeomin have a lot in common, but they also have some important differences. Unlike its predecessors, Xeomin does not need to be refrigerated. This may be an advantage when it comes to distribution. What's more, Xeomin is "naked." There are no additives — just botulinum toxin type A. This may lessen a patient's likelihood of developing antibodies to Xeomin.

Men want to look young too

Today a lot of men are now taking aging a little more serious. With the American male grooming market now worth $3.5 billion, men seem to be changing their perspective about a number of concerns that seemed previously to be the preserve of women. Feeling the need to look youthful and appear dynamic well into your 40s, 50s and 60s has led to men re-thinking their outlook to pills, diet, exercise, skincare products and cosmetic surgery. Men progressively want to change the things they don't like to see in the mirror and statistics available from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery show that surgery is becoming increasingly common with men as a way to deal with image maintenance and change to aging. This is great because women have always felt the need to stay pretty for their men, now men can return the favor.

Cosmetic Surgery for the body

Men you want back that 6 pack? Bulging pecs and skin resurfacing are on the rise. Cosmetic surgery appeals to our quick-fix, no hassle approach to life.  Sometimes men work out really hard and no matter what they do they still cannot rid of that excess fat. Laser liposuction on stubborn areas such as the breasts, abdomen, and love handles will give any motivated man that jump start he needs. It also speeds up your metabolism for 3 months so you can see even more results!

Introducing Vampire Facelift

WHAT IS A VAMPIRE FACELIFT?

Vampire facelift is using your own blood and processing it in the office, re-injecting the part which is rich in platelets to desired areas in the face or hands to reduce wrinkles and to plump the desired area. Platelets contain more than 7-8 different growth factors which in turn stimulates the growth of your own blood supply and collagen at the injected sites. It takes approximately 4-6 weeks to see the maximum results and it lasts almost 2 years. There is no need to worry about nodules or inflammatory response of your body because there are no foreign objects involved. Slight bruising or swelling might occur, which are temporary and will disappear after 2-3 days. This procedure has been used for many years in Europe and is very safe. It is FDA approved.

Benefits Of Laser Liposuction

Benefits of Liposuction
The immediate benefits of liposuction are both physical and mental. It doesn't just change you, but it will enhance how you look and how you will feel about yourself. Confidence will soar and you will love it.
Sure, liposuction may sound like some miracle cure. Most doctors will tell you that it's not the best choice for everyone. They'll also tell you that it can't replace diet and exercise. That is the absolute truth. Some fat just can't be worked off even with the most area-intensive exercises. Even healthy people have body issues that they can't necessarily deal with. Also, the task of improving your own body image is a huge investment of time and energy. Not everyone has that kind of spare time especially when bills need to get paid.
That's why people consider the benefits of liposuction to outweigh the costs.
Consider the physical gains. You can achieve the exact look that you want, within the limits of the technology and your body type. Most people do get the body curves they've always wanted. The weight loss also helps them fit into more clothes. The liposuction procedure is now so advanced and versatile that you can choose the exact location where fat is to be removed. It's like sculpting your body when exercise and dieting fails.
But those changes are the obvious ones. The ones that count the most will be the mental changes. Once you've achieved a body type that you want, it's such an incredible boost to your self-esteem. Imagine looking exactly as good as you feel. Often people with really poor self-images tend to be fraught with frustration and confusion. These bad thoughts keep them from realizing the person that they really are. Often, these worries and concerns go away once the fat is gone. When you look in the mirror afterwards there won't be anything to do but smile.
And that's not all. People will treat you differently either. Though some are critical of plastic surgery techniques, they just don't see it as a positive choice within the grasp of medical science. The fact is that you'll look better than you did before and people won't be able to deny it. Your social life will improve drastically, and your sex life will probably get a kick in the pants. These things just come part and parcel with greater self-confidence.
These are the benefits of liposuction. It's about looking good, and knowing it. You can finally be free of the shackles that those fat deposits have put you in for so long. As the saying goes: out of sight, out of mind. Imagine freeing your mind of those incessant social pressures and freeing yourself to be who you want to be.

Green Tea Benefits

Weight loss

Drinking this beverage helps you feel full, so it can curb your appetite. It may also help you burn more calories according to a study published in November, 1999, by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Anti-Aging properties

Green tea is rich in the antioxidants. Such  vitamin E and C. Antioxidants destroy free radicals that damage cell membranes. Damaged cell membranes lead to diseases such as cancer, heart attacks and diabetes.

Drinking it may help relieve the suffering caused by rheumatoid arthritis. This was revealed in a study in April 1999 by researchers at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Asthma relief

Green tea contains a substance called theophylline. It’s a muscle relaxant, so it can cause the muscles supporting the bronchial tubes to relax -- thus reducing asthma’s ability to restrict normal breathing.

Lowers blood pressure

If you have high blood pressure, you will be more susceptible to a heart attack or stroke. Green tea may prevent the formation of blood clots which lead to heart disease and stroke.
Fights cancer

A team from the Mayo Clinic found that three out of four chronic leukemia patients (who were given green tea extract) seemed to experience regression of the disease. The fourth patient also showed some improvement. The doctors gave the extract a try after a 2004 test tube study of green tea revealed that leukemia cells were killed by the substance.

According to the American Cancer Society, “Green tea contains chemicals known as polyphenols, which have antioxidant properties. Catechins are the major group of polyphenols in green tea. The most important catechin seems to be epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). EGCG may cause cancer cells to die like normal cells do. It may also work by stopping new blood vessels from forming, a process called angiogenesis, thereby cutting off the supply of blood to cancer cells.”

It is interesting to note that there seem to be fewer cancer deaths in Japan than in the United States. Could it be because citizens there drink a lot of green tea?

May lower cholesterol

Studies have shown that this drink may help lower cholesterol with no side effects. By lowering cholesterol, the body receives help in fighting heart disease and stroke as well.

Guards against infections

Research shows tea extracts can destroy the organism that causes disease.  Stimulating the immune system and at the same time we are destroying the organisms by drinking Green Tea.

Green tea treats sunburn, strained eyes, blemishes, rashes and minor cuts because of its antiseptic properties.

Try gargling with it when you feel a cold or the flu coming on. Soak your feet in it for athlete’s foot or just as a refreshing foot bath.

Are you drinking enough water?

Are you drinking enough water in a day? We’re always told to drink 8 cups of water a day, but more than half of us don’t even get that close. It is very vital to your body to drink a sufficient amount of water per day. So keep track of it especially if you work out regularly or out in the hot sun, now that summertime is just around the corner!

Make sure to watch out for signs of dehydration such as dry mouth, sticky saliva, reduced/darker urine output, lethargy and increased thirst. If you experience any of these symptoms, make sure to chug that jug of water!

However, try to do it on a regular basis. Remind yourself to drink water everyday by leaving water bottles in the fridge or on the counter or somewhere you’re able to pass by and see it. For the ones who hate the taste of water, try adding Crystal Light or other flavorings to your water bottle to pump up the taste.

Whatever works for you, try to keep track of your water intake and drink as much as you can! Your body will thank you in the long run.

Take your vitamins ladies

Taking your vitamins as well as daily supplements are more important then you think. Do not think about about skipping your Calcium supplement. Sufficient Calcium is a necessity for women of all ages. This has been proven to prevent those achy cramps as well as Pre-Menstrual Period (PMS) Symptoms. We all could use a little more help there right?  It additionally prevents Osteoporosis generally for menopausal women. Vitamin E boosts defense system. Women who bear menopausal duration should take Vitamin E-400 as it stops night sweats as well as prohibited those oh so dreaded hot flashes. Also, Vitamin E is pronounced to be most appropriate in avoiding wrinkles when aging.

Healthy tips to improve your life

HEALTH TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
Nutrition:
1.       Buy whole foods -- whether canned, frozen, or fresh from the farm -- and use them in place of processed foods whenever possible.
2. Reject foods and drinks made with corn syrup, a calorie-dense, nutritionally empty sweetener that many believe is worse for the body than sugar
3. Start each dinner with a mixed green salad. Not only will it help reduce your appetite for more caloric foods, but it also will automatically add veggies to your meal.
4. WATER, WATER, and more WATER.  Not only will you eat less but you will feel less fatigued and your skin will look fabulous. You would be surprised how many people are dehydrated and don’t even know it.
Physical Fitness:
1.       Do a squat every time you pick something up. Instead of bending over in the usual way, which stresses the lower back, bend your knees and squat. This forces you to use your leg muscles and will build strength.
2.        Every time you stop at a traffic light (or the bus does), tighten your thighs and butt muscles and release as many times as you can. (Don't worry, no one will see it!) This will firm leg and buttock muscles improve blood flow -- and keep you mildly amused!
3. Whenever you're standing on a line, lift one foot a half-inch off the ground. The extra stress on your opposite foot, ankle, calf and thigh, plus your buttocks, will help firm and tone muscles. Switch feet every few minutes.
Stress Control:
1. Give your partner a hug and kiss every day before work and after. Studies show this simple act can help you remain calm when chaos ensues during your day and also better your relationship.
2. Have a good cry. It can boost your immune system, reduce levels of stress hormones, eliminate depression, and help you think more clearly.
3. Twice a day, breathe deeply for three to five minutes. You will be surprised how much more relaxed you will feel.
Sleep:
1.       Sprinkle just-washed sheets and pillowcases with lavender water. The scent has been shown in studies to promote relaxation, which can lead to better sleep.
2. Buy a new pillow. Studies show that pillows with an indent in the center can enhance sleep quality and reduce neck pain. Also, try a "cool" pillow -- one containing either all-natural fibers or a combination of sodium sulfate and ceramic fibers that help keep your head cool.
3. Eat a handful of walnuts before bed. You'll be giving yourself a boost of fiber and essential fatty acids along with the amino acid tryptophan -- a natural sleep-inducer.

Just a bit of advice: Do not take off more than two or three days at a time. After missing a few days, it is easy to miss a few more and then to lose the habit entirely. Even if the activity is less strenuous that it had been before, or if your schedule is tight and it cannot be done for long, exercise anyway. Something is always better than nothing and even short workouts help to retain the habit.
Remember that the benefits outweigh the costs. Working out does take up time and energy, but it also promotes health and mobility, increases confidence, improves the quality of sleep, and makes you more attractive. It is easy to make excuses and say “I’ve done a lot today and I’m tired” or “I have no time” but in the end, you will reap the immense benefits of exercise if you sacrifice the time and energy that it takes to exercise. With all these little health tips you will not only feel like a million bucks…you will look like it too!!!  =0)

Exercise why do I dread you? You do so many GREAT things for me….

Whether it’s having more energy or being sharper at work, exercise has many benefits for us (An improved physique is a bonus). If you've been looking for the motivation to begin an exercise program or get back into working out regularly, here are 5 fitness facts that may help inspire you to get off the couch and back in the gym.
1. Exercise stimulates Brainpower
Exercise increases energy levels and increases serotonin in the brain, which leads to improved mental clarity. Not only are you more productive at work but your energy level gets you through the days where they last a little bit longer than you expected. Not to mention this boosts your immune system therefore not necessary to take off any sick days =)
You might be surprised at how popping in that workout DVD (P90X or Insanity) for 30 minutes in the morning can change your entire day. When endorphins are released into your bloodstream during exercise you feel much more energized the rest of the day. And when you improve your strength and stamina, it's easier to accomplish everyday tasks like carrying groceries and climbing stairs.
2. Feel less stress
As much as it may stress you out just to think about exercising, once you actually start working out, you'll experience less stress in every part of your life. Exercise produces a relaxation response that serves as a positive distraction by helping elevate your mood and keep depression at bay. You're not the only person who will benefit from more happiness and less stress in your life. When you're less stressed, you're less irritable and that could improve relationships with your partner, kids, and co-workers.
Finding the time can be stressful but try to get creative to make working out more fun. Take your kids to the park or ride bikes together, and you're getting physical activity while enjoying family time, he says. Beyond that, go for a hike, take the kids swimming, or play hide-and-seek, tag, softball, or horseshoes in the backyard. Everyone has 20 minutes.
3. Exercise Helps Ward Off Disease
Research has shown that exercise can slow or help prevent heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis (bone loss), and loss of muscle mass. It also helps ease some aspects of the aging process. Hello? What else do we need right?
Exercise strengthens the muscles and joints, it is going to reduce your odds of having some of those aches and pains and problems most adults have, mostly because of the inactive lives they lead. All positive effects, Zero negatives.
4. Fitness Pumps Up Your Heart
Not only does exercise help fight disease, it creates a stronger heart -- the most important muscle in the body. That helps makes exercise -- and the activities of daily life feel easier.
Within only a couple days after you start exercising, the body readily adapts to the stimulus it's getting and it becomes easier. You will feel less fatigue. It will not take as much effort when it comes to breathing. You shouldn't have as much pain or soreness."
BEST REASON OF THEM ALL:
5. Exercise Lets You EAT more without feeling guilty!!
Pound for pound, muscle burns more calories at rest than body fat. So the more muscle you have, the higher your resting metabolic rate. And, of course, you also burn calories while you're actually exercising. So indulging with your favorite guilty pleasure won’t set you back.

Plump up the Volume!

HYALURONIC ACID~

The secret to hyaluronic acid is actually simple once you understand how it works. Because it is a naturally occurring substance found in skin, collagen and other areas of the body there is little irritation or risk of allergy, unlike other popular skin care products. However, don't confuse gentle with a lack of efficacy. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water within the cells of the skin and tissue underneath, SO it literally is acting like a sponge to retain a supple, firm skin tone and youthful appearance. In fact, HA excels in this area and is actually able to absorb approximately 1,000 times its own weight inside the extracellular spaces within the matrix of the skin. It plumps skin and enhances the volume to create that same firm yet soft and supple skin associated with youth.
Changes can be seen in as little as 30 minutes and last up to six months  to a year!Unfortunately, the naturally occurring levels of hyaluronic acid produced by the body tend to decrease over time. As we age, the body begins to produce less and less hyaluronic acid while the cumulative environmental impact of radiation, chemicals, poor nutrition and other hazards continue to take their toll. Not fair right? Delicate facial tissue tends to show it first as the impact of dehydration, loss of collagen and reduction of elastin form fine lines, wrinkles and loss of supple skin tone.

There is hope!

Hyaluronic acid injection benefits

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid injection that is often used to plump up skin. Restylane lasts longer than other injectables like collagen injections. Another key benefit is that you may require no recovery time from a hyaluronic acid injection.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the body that works to hold moisture in your cells while increasing the elasticity, durability and radiance of your skin. Clear gel hyaluronic acid injections pump up the skin, fill in wrinkles, and offer a youthful, refreshed and smooth look.

Beauty Tip... Brows define your eyes ladies

The earliest signs of facial aging occur in our eyes, often beginning in the late twenties and early thirties. The earliest signs are fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, frown lines and crow's feet. Soon we begin to notice that our eyebrows have begun to sag and cover the upper eyelid.

A high arched eyebrow is a classic sign of youthful beauty and alertness. As the eyebrow and forehead descend, a loose fold of skin begins to cover the upper eyelid and make our eyes look tired and old. Botox can help reverse and prevent many of these changes when started early in many people.

Advanced sagging often requires a surgical brow lift, not Botox. However, the early use of Botox can help prevent some of the forces which act to pull the forehead down and cause brow ptosis or sagging.

Secret Weapon: WATER

Get Healthy Glowing Skin: Hydration

One of the best ways to nourish your skin is to drink WATER.  You're skin will take on an immediate glow when you are properly hydrated. Water also assists the body with it’s natural elimination process by flushing unwanted toxins out.
Interesting fact about water: Moodiness and irritability are some of the first signs that a person is dehydrated. A good thing to tell your partner next time either one of you gets a little crabby. Or better yet, say nothing and give him/her a nice tasty glass of H2O

TIP #1
Keep water at the office. Drink water throughout the day. Don't wait until you feel thirsty. (Beverages such as coffee, tea, sodas, or alcohol are NOT a substitute for water)

TIP#2
For a little added pampering at work, try a hydrating mist. (Refresh your makeup too)

TIP #3
Add some cucumber, lemon, oranges or any tasty fruit to your water for some extra flavor

TIP#4
Try to drink 1 glass before and after each meal. Also right when you wake up as well as before you go to bed. (Doing this will decrease your appetite too)

STAY TUNED FOR MORE TIPS!

Anti-Aging

Anti-Wrinkle and anti-aging products fall under the peptide category. Peptides trigger collagen synthesis and decreses wrinkles on the skin. Two peptides that are promising: Matrixyl 3% & Argireline 10%. Always check the percentage...it is important!! =0)
