Are you drinking enough water?

Are you drinking enough water in a day? We’re always told to drink 8 cups of water a day, but more than half of us don’t even get that close. It is very vital to your body to drink a sufficient amount of water per day. So keep track of it especially if you work out regularly or out in the hot sun, now that summertime is just around the corner!

Make sure to watch out for signs of dehydration such as dry mouth, sticky saliva, reduced/darker urine output, lethargy and increased thirst. If you experience any of these symptoms, make sure to chug that jug of water!

However, try to do it on a regular basis. Remind yourself to drink water everyday by leaving water bottles in the fridge or on the counter or somewhere you’re able to pass by and see it. For the ones who hate the taste of water, try adding Crystal Light or other flavorings to your water bottle to pump up the taste.

Whatever works for you, try to keep track of your water intake and drink as much as you can! Your body will thank you in the long run.
